As a part of the inaugural class of the Stockton Urban Revitalization Fellowship in 2018, I designed our capstone report that assessed the art scene in Stockton.

As a cohort we worked collectively to interview community members within the art community to find their perspective on resources and spaces available to them. We created this report with artivism, the connection of art and activism, as our main theoretical framework. After collecting personal narratives and researching art culture in surrounding cities, the report culminated with a proposal to include art within civic engagement.
